what is sorority bid day for fraternies?
by: Bid day 2016Hey so I know Bid day is a huge deal for sororities and thier PNMs, but how are fraternities involved in that day. Apparently many fraternities have told their PNMs to move in on Friday so they can participate in Bidday on Saturday. What is the schedule like for fraternities on that day? What do the fraternities do and obviously what type of interaction do they have with sororities on that big day? Are there parties or Darties and are the events at sorority houses, fraternity houses, or somewhere else? Thanks I'm looking to join a fraternity and want to know how I will be involved in that day.

Fraternities dont have pnms they have rushees and pledges brah. And we make the pledges get to the house at 7 or 8, make them shot gun till they puke, then unleash them on sorority row with roses and to introduce themselves to all the new girls. All fraternities usually host off campus parties and many sororities do too.
HOWEVER, this year I think the school is putting an end to that and not letting anyone besides family on sorority row, and making all the new girls leave town for their pledge retreat right away.

The sororities hang out with the fraternities. Usually older sorority girls with big off campus houses will throw big parties at their houses and invite their fraternity friends to meet the new girls. Parties are usually pretty wild.
The roses are just roses you give to the hot new girls you like.

Lol Thanks for clearing my head up man. I'm a rushee not a pnm. What is the whole rose thing like and how long does that take. Then when the parties continue off campus through out the day, do the sororities hang out with the fraternities or are they already doing their own things, and where do the off campus parties take place?
