Depends on who provides the opinion. By any reasonable measure, all the houses at bama are good to great.

For what people on gr consider good- @simple is correct but so many on here are also defining good by percentage of top in-state and Deep South they pull.

You'll see conflicting messages to the effect of "It takes more than looks to be a top house" and "It takes more than grades and involvement to be a top house." What they're getting at is family wealth/social standing, power/influence, tradition, and prestige.
