broken ankle

I broke my ankle recently and I'm not going to be able to move around very well or keep my leg down for long periods of time without having a lot of swelling or pain. I won't be able to wear heels or wedges either. Will having a boot for my ankle hurt my chances for rush?

Oh gosh no! It happens every year.

I would ask the ladies who wrote your recs if they would be able to send a note to their chapter letting them know in advance you'll be in a boot and will need to be able to sit down.

Would putting that under medical issues on the recruitment form suffice?

Yeah it's really no issue it happens every year. Just make sure to wear the boot so there's no doubt that there's an actual reason you aren't wearing heels

You should have a great story to tell about your broken ankle. You will stand out and be memorable. This could be a good thing!

Definitely wear your boot it's way better this way. Let people help you. Keep healthy and drink lots of water.
