Until Panhellenic nuts up and stops letting girls with 2.5's rush in the first place (and then expecting houses to take those girls by imposing a 95% bid rate) we will continue to have houses below the all women's average.

Said the Bama county club mom that doesn't want anyone to join a sorority but her own daughter. If we continue to discriminate in order to exclude others, then we end up feeding our own ego. Too exclusive and ain't happening. Move forward to present times, if possible for you.

No... Said the active, hence the name. And maybe because girls with 2.5s don't deserve bids? Pledge the library for a semester or two, raise your grades, and rush later. So many grade risks come through that lower recruiting chapters can't afford to cut, they end up with bids, and the girls continue to get bad grades and the chapter ends up with a low GPA. It's a vicious cycle.

Well Theta (ADPi too), if all you got is grades going for ya, stick with it. These are extracurricular organizations, not honor societies, but I totally get that you have to play to any strength you have.
