transfer rush

I plan to transfer to bama next fall as a sophomore, are there any sophomores here who rushed and how was the experience? or what are my chances of getting a bid from a good house?

I'm rushing as an upperclassman too! I had quite a few friends rush as sophomores last year and most of them ended up in top or middle tier sororities. As long as your grades aren't horrible, you've done stuff while in college, and you have a good personality, you have a good chance. I would come in with an open mind though, all the sororities here are great. You might find a home where you least expect it.

My suggestion to sophomores (and really to everyone) is to keep an open mind. All the houses are good and if you reject houses based on what you read on here, you might end up without a house. It's happened before.

If you have recs for all the houses, a good personality, college freshman year clubs/volunteer activities, good college freshman year grades, you should do fine.
