I have read the posts on here regaurdung rush but I still have questions. Which houses will automatically drop you if you aren't a legacy? I heard KD was big on that as well as some others. If I have a rec, will that help get me a bid at all or just hurt me if I don't have one? (To any house). Also, which houses are the hardest to get into? How high of a GPA do I need? I know the difference between Old row/New row and don't care about that.

Get recs for each house, plan a polished wardrobe, work on your conversation skills, then don't worry about the stuff you are obsessing about. You'll do as well as you can that way. If you're worried about the stuff in your comment you're going to seem worried and desperate.

No one will automatically drop you for not being a legacy, at any house. A rec never seals a bid for anyone, that's why we meet you in person, but if you don't have a rec it will hurt your chances substantially, at any house.
