freshman year roommates

I'll admit I looked at a lot of photos from girls I know who went through rush last year and I am so excited for it! The one thing that kind of upset me was that I saw some girls went to a different sorority as their roommate. They started off with tons of photos together but then over the year, they had almost none. Is that typically what happens if you and your roommate rush different houses?

I also wondered this - especially if I'm from outside of Alabama and she is from a well known town in Alabama and knows a lot of people already

It's not that you and your roommates really grow apart (unless you just don't get along) but sometimes you only know each other at the beginning. As you begin to make friends, sorority or not, your pool of picture opportunities grows.

@active is exactly right. I was best friends with my tut roomie and some other girls right down the hall and we were posting like crazy early. then rush starts and ends. You throw what/who you know, so to speak. Then after bid day and new member stuff and school starting, the pool gets deep. You already have done the roomie posts -- time to post new sister stuff additional new friends stuff. So you see is just normal stuff. I never stopped being friends with my tut roomie and those other girls.
