legacy

I've been told juniors don't get into sororities in Alabama, but what if you're a legacy?

You were told wrong. Juniors DO get into sororities. But not just any junior.
Do you have great grades?
Do you know anybody in any of the sororities?
Do you have any outstanding achievements, accomplishments, honors, or awards?
Why did you not start at Alabama?

Women who have really good grades, have contacts in the sorority, and/or have some kind of fabulous achievement, such as a Miss Alabama title, or huge scholarship winner, or race cars, or are a Master Gardener, or .... you get the idea....you have a pretty darn good chance of pledging.
Your legacy status may or may not help you. I'd put it down one way or another.
Now, there are a few groups who will not look at you because of your class status. After the first rounds are over and you get your invittons for second rout, that will be very evident. Let them go, pay no attention whatsover to those groups and concentrate on the ones you have left. Look for the good in them, not the bad. Where do you most feel relaxed and at home? That's where you want to go.

And DO GET RECS!

just keep in mind you are going to be with girls two years younger in your pledge class. You may be over all that by next year. or maybe not...
