So I'm coming from out of state to some rush parties next weekend. Do any other guy rushees go to these alone? Is that bad I'm coming alone?

just hoping not to get looked at weird randomly coming up to a group of people and talking to them. Especially if they've been drinking but ill give it go.

It's rush. You are supposed to come up to the house to meet people. That's what we want you to do. Once you do it a time or two you won't feel so weird. It's usually better to not rush with buddies and give the impression that you are part of a package deal. "We like him but not his buddy. Will he accept a bid without the other guy getting one? No? Okay, no bid."
