will you get cut if you're a legacy in another hou
by: PNMMy mom went to UA and was in an "old row" house. I'm from OOS but still from the deep south, and I've been told that many sororities, especially the ones considered to be "top tier," will cut me because I'm a legacy in a different "top tier" house. I'm really trying to keep my options open and I highly doubt I'll go to my mom's house, so I really don't want to be cut just because of my her. Is there any truth to this, and if there is, is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thanks!!

Unfortunately, this may be the case of you getting cut. But legacies aren't looked at so closely here at UA because there are just so many of y'all. Just make it very clear to all of your houses that you are keeping your options open. If you're a top tier girl, they will want you not matter what your mom did 30 years ago
