rush as a sophmore?

I'm entering Bama fall of this year but my gpa is pretty sad (2.9), i have no connections, and i'm oos so I don't want to get my heart broken by participating in Fall Recruitment. However, I really want to be in a sorority. Should I sign up for COB or rush as a sophmore? Which would be more likely for me to recieve a bid? Or should I just take my chances and rush this fall? Thank you

Rush this fall.
Make sure you have recs everywhere.
Be very polished: hair, makeup, nails, dress and shoe.
Expect big cuts after round one, it sucks but it happens a lot. Focus on new row houses and be open to all house. Good luck!
