philanthropy

by: PNM

So I'm very interested in a certain sorority because all throughout high school I've volunteered with the same philanthropy. I have very good grades and I'm cute but OOS and this is a very instate oriented sorority. Will my philanthropy being the same give me a foot up in rushing that sorority?

Also I'm passionate about it and plan to dedicate my career to it.

It could help.

And as you are already aware -- there is nothing stopping you from volunteering for that philanthropy while in another sorority. It's common for women to have multiple interests in volunteer work. You will have a fuller and richer life by opening your heart to any chapter and philanthropy.

Some members do very little for their philanthropy while others are enthusiastic contributors. Keep your heart open.

I went in thinking it might matter. I have always been VERY involved with st Jude's even briefly staying there as a child and planned on working there as an adult, and had a very very good rec from a UA tridelt alumni who even called them on my behalf and I got dropped after philanthropy after having a very good time. I don't know what they didn't like about me, but apparently it was something.
