spring teas

I am from out of state so I will not able to attend spring teas. Will this hurt me when I go through rush?

they definitely understand if you live far away and can't go!! honestly, it seems like they haven't even been sending as many invites to people OOS. just make sure you RSVP and say you'll be unable to attend to the ones you do receive!!

It will not effect your rush. Spring teas are a good prep for girls that don't know what to expect but in terms of rush the invites are usually connection based and the girls usually talk to so many people they won't remember you. OOS girls are at a disadvantage in terms of connections but usually do fine in rush! Alabama has a lot to offer in terms of greek life both on row and off with smaller sororities!
