2024 FRAT RUSH OUTLOOK GOING INTO WEEKEND

This has been a crazy year for rush with a lot of things getting shaken up. Lets Rank the expected incoming PCs of the better destinations at Cornell. Obviously things can still change but this is a pretty unbiased outlook.

1. Sigphi
-Has an incredibly loyal, very high quality group seemingly locked in. Has stolen guys from both AD and SX. Their 88% acceptance rate for events looks to prove them as the top destination this year. A huge turnaround for a house that has struggled somewhat with rush the past couple cycles. The Society is back in a big way.

2. AD
-Has a massive number of perspective kids that will turnout to be another strong, very large group for the house. I'd imagine they're gonna have to cut some kids at the end. They will come out of this cycle with probably the most populated house on campus.

3. SX
-They didn't rush many kids first semester and look to be struggling a bit now, evidenced by them sending out 65 invites this week. Have a couple of top kids but the rest is mostly filled with kids actually cut from Sigphi and AD. We will see how it goes the next couple days for them.

4. DX
-They have a really neat group coming in this year that have been there from the beginning. The pc looks to be on the smaller side but the quality is quite good and fits the house well.

5. ChiPsi
-The triplers look to be getting a solid squad this year. Not very popular kids but pretty unproblematic ones, which is pretty customary for this house in recent years. Don't know how much these new guys will help them out socially though.

6. ZBT
-Year after year, they seem to take the same crop of 15 nice westchester kids. Congrats to them, they have an identity. The formula has not proven however to help them with relations and have become a very strong brotherhood that doesn't mix a ton.

7/8. SigPi/DU
-So Sigpi took a really good fall rush class and that has helped them continue to improve on relations recently. DU took a smaller fall rush class with some controversial characters. Both of these houses don't seem to have gotten much interest this cycle. DU will probably bid a lot of kids because they need to after last years small pc. SigPi is taking a few cool guys as well as some fruitier/relations kids.

9. Pike
-Winning the Kids race for rush. Taken guys from Lambda, Pikapp and PSK. We will see if they can get an improved mixing schedule this year, they look to be heading in the right direction.
