How do Pike and Fiji stack up against each other?

Ignore this, everyone. It’s the same kid doing all these “compare x and y” posts the last two days, trying to stir stuff up. This is why the Cornell GR is so toxic.

Here's the deal -- Pike mixes with ddd and kd and has the biggest brotherhood on campus. So if you're interested in immediate gratification, go with Pike. That said -- Fiji was an upper mid/ upper tier house just a few years ago, and they historically have had 100+ brothers. They also haven't mixed yet b/c they're on probation coming back from getting kicked off, but to think that'll keep up is absurd. They used to be very tight with PiPhi and SDT and can almost guarantee they'll be mixing much better than Pike once probation is up. Fiji also has a significantly more impressive alumni group, largely b/c they've always been upper mid/ upper, whereas Pike has consistently been a lower mid or mid tier frat.

So Pike is more rewarding if you only care about this semester, but by your senior year Fiji will be at least a tier, if not two, better than Pike.

As an aside, there's a reason the mid houses have crummy houses. Pike's house is one of the worst on campus, whereas Fiji's is one of the best. Upper houses don't get their status by accident. What's going on with SAE is a prime example of this in real time.

Mids are in an unusual position these days with historically upper mid / upper houses returning to campus. The mids are better positioned for now, but 12 months from now who knows.

Pike is so overrated. Pi Kapp is the only mid tier that’s actually rushing decent dudes.

This one, I’m between this too all my boys are cross rushing and idk who to pick
