Is pledging really just 4 weeks?

Bump. What's the real story here -- am I going to be pledging for more than four weeks or not?
You guys talk about everything under the sun here -- most of it nonsense and not at all helpful to us PNMs -- but this topic is met with crickets.
Makes me wonder what's going on . . . .

sup nerd, you probably aren't going to get bids anywhere good. Why do I know this? Because if you can't handle more than 4 weeks you probably look and act like it.

No actually the frats my large friend group and I wind up pledging — which is likely going to be more than one — need to strap in, because we’re going to report anyone who makes us pledge more than the mandated four weeks.
