Dirty rush not going well?
by: ConcernedFroshExchanged contacts with brothers at multiple houses esp during o-week and onwards, got rush chair #s which I texted too. Never heard back from any of them. This a common thing or do I just have bad luck?

So I’m a rush chair and running dirty rush right now. You probably got cut. There are a ton of freshmen this year, but the good news is there are a lot of frats too. You can definitely find a place where the guys like you, and if all you care about is rank, pike/pikapp should be easy places to get bids even if ur a bit weird. Overall frats cutting you during dirty rush is still better than not dirty rushing so you don’t waste your time during rush week next year

depends on the house. If you’re talking about actual top houses, many of the kids we’ve had over already knew someone from before cornell or are athletes. Don’t get discouraged tho, if a house cut you, you prob wouldn’t fit in there

Didn't know that; I spent o-week and saturdays walking around parties talking to people. Some asked for my contact and gave me rush chair's #, some also promised to invite me to events on top of that, others didn't, etc etc. Tbh I'm doing the 3+3 program for Cornell law so I probably wouldn't have much time for pledging anyways, so I'll look at mids and lower.
