Rush week expectations
by: Sig FreudI’m not much of a drinker, or smoker. Will I be expected to drink a ton or smoke a ton to prove my worth? What do I need to do to impress frats (mid and up). I really don’t want to end up at a bottom tier house, but I’m not comfortable with blacking out for street cred. Idk this whole process has me nervous. Can someone give me some advice?

trust me no frat will make you or expect you to black out. when they ask you to drink more, it is because they want to see you drunk around girls. you can always drink in moderation and say no when its too much, but dont like NOT drink altogether unless you dont drink at all for religious/personal reasons. its not that deep, have fun bro its supposed to be a fun week for everybody

If you get invited to rush events, they will probably be really loud and crowded. If you can feel comfortable and fun in that environment without drinking much, it’s no big deal. But if you think you will be shy around a bunch of rly loud drunk ppl it will go very poorly.
