Thoughts on Fiji?
by: YesSophomore here looking to rush. I was at Fiji in the college I’m transferring from but it looks like they’re a brand new frat here (or restarting I don’t know). I want an established brotherhood and looking to party. Is it worth rushing Fiji? Does anyone know anything about them?

Not brand new at all. They’ve been underground for the past two years, but they still have quite a few brothers. Was an upper mid frat so they have a good rep here. Sure if you can get a bid at one of the upper tiers do that instead, but Fiji will no doubt be one of the upper half frats again very soon.

Bro no their house was converted into a dorm. When frats are kicked off here they just die lmao no crazy parties. You’re probably better off joining sig chi or some thing

I don’t think any of them do fall rush and if you’re a sophomore transfer you should look to rush asap, I’d look at sigma pi, delta chi, chi psi during the fall

Anyone telling you Fiji is a good underground frat here is lying to legitimize underground frats. Fact of the matter is that Fiji doesn’t have a house and doesn’t have enough brothers to even have mixers while you’re here. At Cornell, underground frats don’t exist and they suck when they come back. Best case scenario you’ll start having some mixers again when you’re a senior

That sounds good to me. I’ll look into it. By underground do you mean they still have the house? If Fiji disaffiliated from the IFC that probably means the parties were pretty wild
