Relevant Frat descriptions for frosh

Top: Sig Chi, DU, AD, Sigma Phi
Mix exclusively with C4 srats. Intense pledging and dirty rush their classes. Very selective. Expect to be hazed but it won’t be the same as other southern schools/how media portrays it
Upper: Sig Pi, DX, Chi Psi
Mix with C4 srats just not as much as the top frats. Mix a lot with SDT Pi Phi and AZD. Sig Pi has intense pledging but DX and Chi Psi not so much. Dirty rush kids but also take kids during the spring. Selective
Upper Mid: Lambda, Chi Phi, ZBT TDX
Mix with Pi Phi, AZD, SDT. Don’t need to dirty rush. ZBT known to haze hard. Somewhat selective
Mid: Pike Phi Tau Pikapp
Mix with mid srats (aephi, Tridelt, KD, AXO). Sometimes mix with Pi phi or AZD through bigways. Don’t need to dirty rush at all. Very light pledging
Rest of the frats don’t have a lot going for them socially but chill guys in every frat. Check out as many houses as you can. Mixers are fun till you’re a sophomore but the brohood stays forever. Lmk if yall have any questions in the comments

we cant really know much until we see how they mix next semester and meet the guys. also theres the question of their new rush classes and houses for the "underground" frats.. really we just have to wait and see i think before making any kind of accurate rankings

Bump on the comment above. We don’t really know how they will be but I think we can get somewhat of an idea of how they’ll do.
SAE: They will be getting their physical house back if they get enough people to live in it by fall 2023. That physical house is one of the best on campus (Sammy did pretty well for the couple of years they got it), but the question is if SAE will even get enough people to live in that house? There’s so many frats and the competition is tough so they’ll have to settle for a lot of kids that they wouldn’t necessarily want. They have good alumni support and will likely do well
Sammy: they’ve been operating underground and will be getting the phi Mu house next year. Sammy wasn’t the most ‘relevant’ house but had one of the biggest brotherhoods on campus. A lot of the kids have graduated but some remain and I think they’ll be able to get decent classes but the phi Mu house is terrible. Will probably mix with aephi since they’ve been historically close
Delta Phi (Llenroc): arguably one of the best physical properties on campus with a beautiful house. They have been operating underground and have been taking kids afaik but don’t know if they mixed (I think they didn’t but I’m not sure). They also have massive alum support and will likely do well during rush because of their physical house.
Fiji: they’ll get their house back in fall 2023. Before they were kicked they had strong relations with mid to upper mid srats and frats. The physical house was a big boost for them. They’ll likely not do well because all their old actives will graduate before they even get their physical house
Sig Nu: they kinda bid anybody that walked through their house. They mix with PSS currently and are firmly lower mid in my opinion and will likely stay that way since no one takes the new guys serious and their physical house isn’t all that great. Also given the fact that they don’t have an annex, they’ll do terrible in rush/o week, but who knows
I would say college is a short time and it’s better to join already established houses with traditions and social schedules than try to rebuild something but if that’s your cup of tea go for it

Yep, Lambda will be having C4 mixers and the parties we have been throwing (ski, bubble, etc) have been really pushing their frat up
