2022 SORORITY RANKS w/ explanations

TOP
DG/Aphi - been the top houses for the past 4 years, DG is probably the hardest house to get a bid from due to the sheer amount of dirty rushing/criteria to be a good fit BUT most girls are not too salty when they rejected from DG since they probably were not a good fit, Aphi is a lot better at being fake nice to PNMs, also difficult to get a bid from BUT always take a good amount of girls who stand out during rush and have less of a pre decided PC like DG or Kappa, Aphi is probably the “best looking” house on campus and the most party focused
Kappa/Theta - honestly equal in tier but very different in terms of which girl is a good fit, Kappa needs to step up on the diversity front but the sisterhood seems strong/no one drops as they never have to COB, have a very strong mixing schedule
During rush objectively theta tends to be a PNM favorite, very hard to get a bid due to the amount of girls who would love to be a theta, good combination of personality and looks, always been diversity focused

UPPER MID
SDT - still number 5, but will be equivalent with pi phi and AZD after MC 19 and MC 20 graduates, the past two PCs have been much worse than their senior and junior classes, however has been improving diversity after being one of the least diverse house on campus
PI PHI / AZD - these houses have very different trajectories
Pi phi has been on the decline for the past 4 years to be honest, PCs have been lackluster but girls tend to like pi phi during rush, honestly just make too steep cuts and aims too high which causes them to lose girls in the cracks
AZD - went from a bottom house to an upper mid house in the past 5 years, consistently taking good looking PCs since MC 19 (arguably better than pi phi), it takes time to develop relations and mix higher so it will be 1-2 years before they reach SDT status (firmly below C4) despite having objectively better looking PCs

MID
AEPHI - took strong MC 20 and MC 21, MC 22 is lower quality but has cemented itself as a solid mid house, nice to see the house starting to diversify but more work could be done
KD / DDD - solid houses, KD has remained the same over the past few years, good house with a decent social life, seems a little cliquey
DDD - has declined heavily in the past few years, used to be a heavily desired house and right under SDT and better than pi phi, very diverse and has been from the start, but becoming too alternative and simply not a good fit for most girls

LOWER
AXO - used to be tied with KD and Aephi but on the decline due to poor PCs for the past few years however MC 22 seems much better so maybe on the rise if they continue to rush better
PSS - taken good PCs (MC 20 and 21) but with the absence of phi mu it is the new bottom house
