Let’s be real, acceptance rate is the biggest driver of prestige here.
Top:
AEM (Dyson)
Everyone would transfer here if they could. 2% acceptance rate.
Upper:
Engineering
Best engineering program in the IVY league and very low acceptance rate. Gives us strong relevance in the tech world.
Upper Mid:
Arts and Science
On par with Penn and Columbia for this discipline. Better than Brown and Dartmouth and low acceptance rate.
Mid:
CALS
Weird school no doubt with some rando majors, but the biological science programs are strong and have low acceptance rates.
AAP
Top architecture school in the world. Decently low acceptance rate. Some ridiculously wealthy alumni.
Lower Mid:
Hotel
Terrible acceptance rate, but very wealthy alums in the financial space. A poor man’s Dyson.
Lower:
ILR
Mediocre acceptance rate, super SJW. Only thing keeping them from bottom is the sports commissioners and GMs coming from this school.
Bottom:
Human Ec
PAM is a decent major but outside of that what is this school. Tried to merge with ILR to get out of irrelevance, but even ILR wanted nothing to do with them. High acceptance rate too (except for PAM).

Dyson is low because anyone with 2 hands and a brain has the capacity to learn the undergrad business curriculum.... the number of people who apply for engineering or arts and sciences in the first place is low, there’s way more intellectual self selection there

Basically there’s way more demand for business education than supply, it’s the same analogy as more demand for cars than small planes... anyone with 2 hands and a brain can drive a car but you need to have certain character traits like poise if you want to fly a plane... Dyson is the car, Engineering is the plane
