by: yikes

are "lower tier" sororities usually the only ones that do cob in the fall? As a sophomore should I just wait until spring to rush theta/sdt/tridelt?

ik that's why I put it last...seems cool imo.
just wanted to know if it was like a commonly known thing that upper/mid ones usually don't do fall rush and if I had a better chance at them in the spring

It really depends on the year. Next fall phc will calculate the average number of girls per house and any house below that number can participate in cob. Lower sororities tend to be smaller and are more likely to participate and make it public. But if mid/higher houses had a lot of seniors graduate they could also qualify. However they don’t always do it even if they qualify and if they do they tend to not make it public. I would say 6-7 houses usually do fall cob.

Almost every house does COB except for Kappa and DG. Those are the only ones that haven't participated in the last 15 years. Otherwise, most other houses are at the very least OPEN to meeting girls in the fall
