How frats are really viewed/tiers

People talk about frats being relevant all the time on this site, but no one really explains the difference. Tiers are a thing, people view some frats as better or worse depending on personal preferences. This is as objective as possible, feel free to correct/offer suggestions

Tier 1: Top
SX | SPhi | DU
Sig Pi | AD
These are the consensus top 5 frats at Cornell. Despite all the undesirable things that they may be known for (looking at you DU/AD) undeniably, these 5 have the most social clout on campus. Getting into any of these 5 is incredibly difficult without dirty rush/prior connections. The kids in these frats are the frattiest of the frats, the preppiest of the prep, and the rowdiest of Cornell Greeklife. Solid alumni connections, best sorority relations. Despite all the controversy, hold a massive chunk of greeklife clout.

Tier 2: Upper
Chi Psi
Chi Phi | DX
The first layer of distinction. Lot of controversy here too. These frats are all solid houses, have a considerable amount of clout but lack the relations of the top tier frats. Lose kids to them on the regular. All the same, absolute quality frats and still hold a good chunk of greeklife clout. Most of these houses require prior connections/dirty rush to get in like the tops.

Tier 3: Upper Mid
Lambda | TDX
ZBT
This is where dirty rush becomes less prevalent. These houses still do it, but nowhere near as much as the upper or top houses. Fun houses that have good sorority relations with upper mid and mid srats. People won't say it, but ZBT and TDX are kind of a niche, specific frat. On the whole, solid reps on campus and fun place to be.

Tier 4: Mid
Pike | Phi Tau
PSK
Pi Kapp
This is the last line of relevancy. Dirty rush is not much of a thing in this tier. These frats don't hold much clout but are still involved enough in the sway of things. Aside from PSK, have solid relations with the mid srats. Generally composed of your average cornell background (suburb, upper middle class etc) with a good amount of wealth. On the whole, while not boasting the best parties/relations, still amongst good people.
