how long does pledging last?

^ subject. specifically curious how long the top houses' pledge processes are

for a top house, expect it to slow down after the official end, but realistically it goes on for another few weeks and sometimes the whole semester.

yeah it is interesting to see how long stuff lasts. Some of my buddies who go to large state schools in the south mentioned that even as sophomores they got hazed a bit by the upperclassman. Only when they became juniors did it fully stop. But this is Cornell, so it likely won't extend past this semester.

depends on the house. some go beyond cornell’s initiation date and some dont. 5-9 weeks
