KSig vs. DKE vs. PhiTau?

Phi Tau did COB to get one person who didn't register properly. They got that person hours after COB started

Don't think PhiTau is doing COB anymore. They took the largest PC this year with 21 guys and might have registered for COB to pick up guys who did not register properly. Either way 99/100, you take the bid at PhiTau over the other two if you do somehow get a bid there.

PhiTau is probably done with rush, but KSig and DKE are still doing COB. They took bigger PCs, but they'll probably be happy to extend more bids b/c why not. Both good options on the rise. Especially with frats getting kicked left and right they'll definitely mix more with mid srats when that's allowed again.

How do KSig and DKE compare in terms of vibes? Looking for a fratty house, what's a good option in lowermid?

They both pull from dudes who got cut from Pike and PiKapp, so somewhat fratty, but still a range of personalities. Considering Deke picked up former PhiPsi kids, they're probably trending toward the frattier direction. KSig also loves to rip pong and beer dye, so they're fairly fratty too.

One of the reasons they’re destined to rise. Most of Greek life is in those schools, so the boys already know people in other houses.

phi tau isn’t taking anyone new COB so you can knock them off their list
lower-mid is weird bc it occupies the no-mans land between mid and lower (which is a pretty large gap). kappa sig has a smaller (still strong) class and has a better rep than DKE (plus they didn’t engage in an annoying self-rank campaign like DKE did. kappa sig is probably your best bet

Considering they pulled strong regular rush PCs, they'll probably be decently competitive, however, I'd still shoot them an email and see if they're hosting anything. They're both friendly houses so I'm sure they'd be happy to meet you.

Pretty similar. A lot of KSig guys rushed those houses, but got cut. They're less athletic on the whole, but emaulate similar vibes. Also KSig is probably closest to Pike in that they have a mix of fratty and chiller kids. Whereas a house like Lambda is much more rowdy and uniform.

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with guys in dke, and there a lot of people in the house that make me uncomfortable. I’ve never felt that way at ksig. The guys have always been super nice, and they play a mean game of pong. Much better vibes there in my opinion
