What exactly happened in rush in the mid tier?
by: interestedpersonBeen hearing a lot of conflicting information regarding how the mid tier rush frats. While it is clear that PhiTau/PSK easily took the largest classes 21/20 respectively and Pike and PiKapp took 16/13 respectively, what was that the result of. Was it because PhiTau/PSK legimately took kids from Pike/PiKapp (know this happened but not to what extent) or was it just the fact that they got more kids to sign?

Think there was crossrush but not as much as last year. P sure each frat probably had 10-12 kids they knew would sign just based off time spent there and the rest were cross rush. In that sense, PhiTau/PSK won more of that cross rush (in particular PSK winning hella kids from PiKapp) which ballooned their classes to the 20 mark.

Maybe, think PhiTau/Pike/PiKapp are doing COB, but I’m guessing only really to sign guys that didn’t register for formal rush correctly.
