sophomore, got a bid at a house. However, already signed a lease for an apartment next year, so I have to live out. The frat i got a bid at has insanely high live out dues- will I have to pay these every semester?what are other costs associated with frats?

yeah it blows, you are gonna have to pay the live out dues. Generally these can be anywhere from 2k to around 3.5-4k. Either sublease your apartment and live in house. Or get a job to cover the difference.

bulk of dues are mealplan usually so, you can basically write those off as food costs that you pay this year

varies but I think for most houses it is dinner 5 days a week, lunch 3 days a week, and access to the kitchen and all the ingredients.

would ask the president/treasurer of the house about this, they can give you a better breakdown.
