Fall vs. Spring Rush?

Usually only uppermids who didn’t take enough spring guys (just depends on the year), and the mids. If a c4 mid does COB next week, I’d try hard for that tbh.
Lowermids and Lower always do fall rush I think

its a house by house thing. It all depends on how that houses spring class stacked up. If they were low on numbers/want a better class, a fall rush for a house can be slightly easier. For instance when Pike took their 26 man class, they only took like 3 kids in the fall compared to their average of 7-9 whereas Sig Pi who only got like 10 kids in their most recent PC took like 8 in the fall to get some more kids in. It is still very hard to get into a top/upper but if your friends made it in, they can get you in. At the same time, know plenty of transfers who joined top/upper without connections. Fall rush is all about completing the class.

If I have a friend who got a bid from an UpperMid and I didn’t get any bids, should I wait until the fall?

lmao no just see what frats are COBing and then rush. One guy cannot pull you through. If it was a group of kids than they can.

Just 1 friend or a large friend group joined this house? Because 1 friend won’t really matter because the majority of the house has to vote in your favor. Also, fall rush in uppermids will be full of guys who rushed upper/top this spring but didn’t get bids there.
Also, realize that friend-groups from freshmen year get broken up and spread across tiers (my friends ended up in upper, uppermid, mid, and lower). If you didn’t get a single uppermid bid this spring, it’s probably time for you to look at mid or lower tbh.
