Declining Houses 2021

Sig Pi: Having taken a good class with several football players, Sig Pi did fairly well last Spring. However, after many of their Spring pledges dropped, they couldn't recover with a lackluster Fall PC that was filled with kids that don't really fit in with the rest of the house. Heading towards Upper Mid.
Chi Psi: Although their house is nice physically, they still somehow managed to lose almost all of their rushes to DX and Lambda in the Fall. On top of this, Chi Psi has been spamming Greek Rank and upvoting posts that put them way higher than where they actually are. With their brotherhood being very divided, they are heading towards Middle house territory at this point.
AD: AD has had a notoriously bad rep with some sororities for the past several years now. There have been several accusations toward them regarding Title IX incidents, and while they are considered extremely wealthy, their money can't really save them from their bad reputation. AD will continue to be an Upper House, but it is steadily falling.
Pikapp: Pikapp has been gradually falling for the past several years now after multiple failed Rush attempts. They have been struggling to secure a good PC and continue to lose kids to houses like Phi Tau and Pike. While their house is also nice physically, they are in a bad location and apparently are in financial trouble.

"heading towards uppermid" is an exaggeration because one bad-class doesn't make you suddenly drop an entire tier, but yes it is true that their latest class was small/mediocre

lol AD was actually a firm top house with Sig Chi, Psi U, and Sig Phi pre rush 2018. They were never falling before that point. It has been something in the last 3-4 years.

AD will never fall into uppermid as long as they keep getting rich nyc and international kids and mixing with DG
But you're definitely right they really did fall from top-3 down to arguably below DU and maybe even SigPi now that they've only got like 30 guys in the house.

AD wants to be hated. They only mix with C4 b/c they want to be controversial. It’s also why they’ll never be less than upper.

AD’s size doesn’t mean they’re falling. They got boned by the suspension and some of their underground PC isnt even officially recognized by the university. Also PsiU was the top house and they only had 40 kids. And SigPhi has perpetually been the #2 house despite never having more than 50 members. On the flipside, there’s been houses like Pike, SigEp, and Fiji with over 100 members and they’ve never moved past mid.

DX should be on here honestly, they are the softest of the UpperMids and notorious for being PC: a trait that makes them more of a drinking club than an actual fraternity.
