What's Cornell's Greek Scene Like?

by: dood

I was wondering how Cornell's greek scene compares to state schools like UMich for example, and also to SEC greek life?

Better than you’d ever expect from an Ivy, but not comparable to a state/SEC school by any means.

Best system in the ivies, yeah Upenn and Dartmouth have frats as well but Upenn is in a city with generally small houses with no yards and dartmouth only has like 5 frats. Cornell frats have both the landscape and numbers. In terms of activities themselves, it is a mix for frats. Lower and bottom frats generally are nice guys but not very fratty at all and are more social clubs than anything. Mid and above frats vary as there are some soft frats like Sig Phi, DX, and Phi Tau but also some frats that go very hard like SX, DU, PiKapp. In general you can find your place if you really search for it.
