How do top Frats Compare?

I'm a freshman and I was just wondering how top frats (SX, DU, Sig Phi, Sig Pi, Chi Phi, Chi Psi, etc.) compare in terms of their vibe and the types of brothers in each, not necessarily their rankings?

SigChi- state-school frat vibes. Lots of athletes (club and varsity), and throw down hard.
DU- similar vibes at SigChi tbh. Good number of baseball players, heard they have more Southern-prep guys tho.
SigPhi- soft boarding-schoolers. Very "ivy-league" vibes.
AD- rich city/metropolitan kids. Very international house (Europe, East Asia, etc).
SigPi- used to have a lot of tall jacked guys, but new guys are sorta plain-lookin tbh. Still really cool/chill tho.
ChiPsi- Mixed bag of guys. old guys are kinda mediocre tbh, but heard new guys are better. Main asset is their large house built by the Johnson Family (alumns who control the SC Johnson corporation).
DX- Mixed bag of artsy/soft guys and sprint-football guys. Founded at Cornell. Chillers who prefer hanging out and doing smaller-events, big events are hit or miss.
ChiPhi- rowdy sprint-football and club lacrosse guys. Throws down in their large house a lot. Very frat, very fun events.

I was wondering which of these houses have more preppy/typical frat vibes and what are like the personalities of different houses?

On a side note- frosh should know how difficult it is to get a bid from upper houses. Lots of kids are dirty-rushed (sports team, went to the same prep-school, etc), so lots of upper frats have half their pledge-class set in advance.
Cornell is a big school with 4 thousand freshmen each year, so it's easy for fraternities to find at least 15-20 frat stars. Swing by and also rush the upper-mid and mid fraternities. Idk too much about them, but they're still good and you can get solid greek-life experiences.

And also, for someone who wasn't dirty rushed, what's the process to maximize the chances of getting a bid at a top house? What do they look for in particular that other houses don't in the other half of their pledge class they didn't dirty rush?

Honestly if you’re a great fit to a top house you have about a 50% chance of getting a bid on rush week, speaking from experience and lot of anecdotes. Not sure how rush week will be this year but play your cards and leverage your friends who have an in somewhere.

There are a couple other top houses but of just the ones you mentioned you could classify them in having a slight distinction: Sig Phi, Sig Pi, Chi Psi are similar in that they are more preppy, better with girls while Sig Chi, DU, Chi Phi are known to be more athletic, heavy drinkers.

Bonus:
Lambda- lots of club hockey and varsity gold guys. Neighbors with ChiPhi and have a similarly impressive house for fun events. Less frat/hardo than before due to some past suspensions, but recovered decently and throw solid events.
TDX- recently merged with SigNu (varsity football house). Toned down, but heard they still have the hardo-culture of SigNu. Still building relations and a little less active, but throws good events.
