can someone explain the difference between piphi and azd they seem very similar in terms of girls and mixing schedule (same with sdt and kappa tbh)

that's not even close. AZD mixes more similarly with KD, AXO, and AEPhi. AZD does all there big events with PiKapp.
Houses like PiPhi and TriDelt will mix mostly with uppermid houses, gets invited to ChiPhridays and do big events with Lambda. SDT will mix with Upper (Sig Pi and DX).
Kappa is Core-4 so it mixes with top frats (DU, SigChi)
