Couple different societies here, idk most of them but there’s two prominent ones:
Quill & Dagger (Congressmen, President of World Bank, lots of rich/successful people)
Sphinx Head (idk much about them)

Skull and Bones is unique to Yale. Quill and Dagger and Order of the Omega are pretty elite though.

what do they do, is it like a fastlane to politics or

can't say for sure because they're all very secretive about their activities (I think Sphinx Head even keeps their membership a secret)- usually they're in leadership positions around campus (ranging from SA-president to captains of the "important teams" like hockey) or Cornell Valedictorians(Merrill Presidential Scholars). Heard they determine the direction of student-body on-campus and have connects to high-level places (Wall Street to DC). Met a Q&D alumni while networking and he's a young managing-director at a major financial firm.
