Preference Horror Stories

if you make it to a house’s pref are you basically guaranteed a bid? Is there any times you felt like blindsided by house and got your second choice? Is it common to have two core 4 houses at pref? are there like any houses which tend to pref similar girls or is it pretty mixed with no real pattern?

1. no, not guaranteed a bid if you make it to pref
2. yes people get blindsided every year because girls lead you on so that their algorithm is better in order to get the girls they want
3. not that common to get 2 core 4 houses at pref. but usually people in deeg/aphi have those two houses at pref.

I preffed pi phi and axo, so you can have big gaps in the quality of houses you pref
