For sororitys im not really sure if there even is a fall rush process. I know a few girls joined as sophomores in fall but i think its more that you make friends wth girls in a house and they invite you over. Not positive and i think most sororitys dont take people in fall.

For frats there is a formal fall rush weekend basically. If you can meet guys during oweek and are very talkative, this can be good. Less guys come around so you can really stand out if you take advantage of it. All frats do fall rush basically except the top 6-8 or so. Spring rush is a lot more fun but being in a house in the fall is also dope.

only a few sororities do fall rush, but it does happen!! However, the process is super informal and they only take a handful of girls. Last year, only AZD and Phi Mu participated, and the year before, KD and Phi Sig also did fall rush. It's based on whether the house is at quota and opts to participate. If you're interested, panhell should post a list at some point in the next month or two of houses participating in fall rush, and you can email the recruitment chair to be put on a list of potential fall rush girls. You'll probably meet with the recruitment chair once or twice and then go to one or two relatively informal events with more girls from the house, and they'll extend bids to 5-10 girls typically.
