Does whether or not a sorority does COB correlate with their ranking? Wondering bc AZD and AXO are "on the rise" but are doing COB. Also, AXO and AEPhi don't normally participate, but are this semester.

COB has to do with whether or not the sorority met quota...top houses normally meet quota so that's why they don't do COB. So yes it loosely correlates, but its technically about numbers not rankings

It doesn't always have to do with meeting quota. For example, if a house's MC was 100% sophomores (but a completely full MC), eventually that MC would graduate a year earlier than would an MC with 100% freshmen. That year, the house would have a lot of space so they would be able to do COB

Like above, it's kinda about quota but also capacity. So following formal rush a sorority will give out snap bids to make quota but if they have extra space they can do COB even if they already met quota.
