2018 pre-rush frat rankings

I recognize that Lambda was an upper-mid frat, but the prolonged probation puts them on similar desirability this rush with that of lower-mid frats. DX doesn't try at anything other than their website, which just promotes a false image of still being top tier. Similarly, ZBT hasn't put in much effort lately and their parties / mixers have been pretty lousy since last spring. I'm sure SDT will flip out over this. Let the intense arguing between insecure people begin!

SDT cares so much about reputation, it's laughable. Some very attractive ladies in sdt, but a number of elitists in the sorority are holding them back

Maybe put them next to pike, but not any better than that. Their probation is pretty crippling for social activity

Can Lambda even take an official pledge class? Also they're on social probation from nationals, so that alone is extremely detrimental and sad for the brothers there.

Pretty sure it's rented out to grad students through the spring, but I imagine it'll be ready to go next fall. It's a sick house, so the parties next year could be hype

Heard they used to be the lacrosse house until some hazing incidents. Another frat on campus would be chill, especially with their location across hot truck

Interestingly, SAE is probably gonna recolonize next year and have dudes live in the house in 2019. They have an awesome physical house next to Fiji, would be good to get that place back in use

It's interesting how campus is trying to get frattier while the administration becomes increasingly anti-frat. Greek life will probably prevail as Cornell cares about money more than anything, and greek life alumni contribute the most to the endowment

Lol is it possible for a top frat to maintain at cornell. Top frats that got suspended or kicked off in the last ten years: SAE, Psi U, Chi Psi, Pike. All the current top frats were upper until they absorbed the ones suspended. Like Sig Chi was #7 or #8 until it absorbed SAE. DU was in a similar position until it absorbed Chi Psi. Sigma Pi absorbed much of Pike. And Alpha Delt is currently absorbing Psi U.

Sig Phi is like the one top tier house that's been consistently relevant at Cornell

7 years ago the top five houses were SAE, Psi U, Chi Psi, Sig Pi, Sig Phi. And ATO and TEP were solidly in the upper tier. A couple years before that Pike was one of the top houses too. Things really have changed

And Beta was a top tier house until the early 2000s before they went dry. They went completely 180 lol
