bid day inside?

Can any Pi Chi or current member answer the reason for why Bid Day is no longer on the Horseshoe? I just graduated and always thought our bid day was an awesome tradition. Just curious why it was changed and thought someone on this site might know!

Is it completely closed off or can people come watch? Also wish they would've moved it to the stadium or even greek village (run to the houses) or something (although i understand that would be hard to secure too). Moving it to the basketball arena completely changes the atmosphere.
