will i be able to get into a sorority?
by: PI only got invited to three houses after the first round. I’m devestated since I’m a sophomore and being in a sorority is something I’ve wanted for so long. What are the chances I’ll make it all the way through rush and get into a sorority? I know we should trust the process but it is very disappointing to imagine that nobody would want to be my sister.

I thought I had a really good chance rushing (I'm a sophomore by year but almost a junior by credit-hours) because I have a really strong GPA and I did a lot of community service in highschool (and I know it shouldn't matter, but I'm a blonde size 2) and I only got invited back to four houses after the first round. I think this is the case for a lot of upperclassmen because there are SO many more freshman this year.
Just try your best to win over the houses you do have and enjoy the experience!

I have three left, and I want to drop but everyone says to keep it up and trust the process. I've got the flu and really just want to quit, but I'm going to give it more
Time and hope that even if I didn't see myself in wherever I end up, that I'll find my group

I was only trying to make the point that it doesn't matter what you look like (which is what everyone assumes) its a numbers game and if you don't have a lot of connections you get drowned out by the other 1700+
Getting dropped is hard for everyone, but it's important to be supportive of one another and hope everyone finds their home
