Thoughts about Alpha Phi?
by: ConfusedCan someone please explain Alpha Phi to me?! Are they like tier two KD wannabes? I’ve just seen that a handful of cute girls from good public and private high schools end up going AP every year. Is that willingly or is it because they got dropped from the top houses? The girls I’m talking about have friends in top houses like pho mu, adpi and kappa so I’m just confused what’s going on?

That second post might be Aphi but the OP doesn’t seem Aphi to me. It’s kinda backhanded as if to say why are these girls going there? There are reasons to knock them but they do get their share of pretty girls. I think the claim that they are like a KD safety srat is probably kinda true.

This is such an obvious Aphi promotion post. Anyway, pretty much all chapters have friends in adpi, phimu, etc. That’s not a flex. Girls in those srats are not any better than anyone else. There are a lot of girls who don’t want to be in those srats bc they are full of Atl girl drama.
Aphi works hard to promote themselves as a certain image. They paid good $ to KD and frats for years to move their status up quickly. The only show pics of certain girls and hide others. There are about 4 sororities that go after the same type of social media fun girl vibes Kd, Aphi, Trid, Dz.

Yeah that’s why I don’t think it’s Aphi self rank. There’s no flex there. It’s just kind of like why do these girls go there. It’s more jab than flex.

Im not an aphi rep. Its not hard to tell that they have come a long way in the past 8 years despite the greekrank hate theyve had along the way. They have a negative reputation and they may never be top tier but theres some great girls in this house that deserve some respect!

I think the paying for socials is folklore from a long time ago. Dont let it skew the obvious. It may have been something that happened one time right after the chapter colonized to get some engagement going but its def not something to occupy space in an open mind.

Speaking of helicopter moms. Even though moms are told not to come to bid day they always do. What does it take to get some moms to not do that?
I realize they feel it is a big moment and they want to celebrate but give your girl some space. Send her a gift basket. Celebrate at home. But let her have her day with her new sisters.
