The only 'hazing' is underage drinking but only in the party-centric ones, and even then you don't have to do it if you don't want to. It's a choice on your part and no one ever got kicked out or punished for saying no. But there are plenty of good chapters that don't start that up in the first place. Please don't believe the stuff that people say on here for drama, it doesn't happen; no blow, no washing machine, no whatever stuff that outsiders like to say.

If you receive a bid you are in. Period. There is no hazing to earn your way further, only some peer pressure, if anything, to conform to dumb stuff. You don't have to do anything uncomfortable, you are smart enough to know this and handle it if it comes up, and the vast majority of sorority actives are also smart enough to not even try this with new members.

No hazing should ever go on. How can you be friends with people who hazed you? DPhiE and any srat that does NOT haze is a good thing. They truly want to be friends.
