What Makes it a TOP SRAT?
by: Be there soonHonesty, plz. When people say "It's a top srat!" what is the basis for these ratings, rankings? Looks? Money? Partying? Or...? I'll be at rush soon & I'm getting overwhelmed already!

Don't worry about the rankings. They only matter to people who want some sense of status. Go where you feel you fit in and are comfortable. If that is considered a "bottom tier" then who cares. Once you are in a sorority you will only care about that group of women and what they think. You will not care about what people you don't hang out with think. Plus it is UGA the "bottom tier" has pretty, smart, and social girls and would be better than at a lot of other colleges

Frat boy take on sororities. The frat boys think 'fraternity relations' actually matter to the sororities when it's the frats who desperately need sorority relations for their entire frat identity. This is what frats base their own rush on, that they have the best sorority relations. Meanwhile, any sorority girl that looks good and is fun can go anywhere and be with anyone she wants.
In reality if you took all the sorority composites and put them side by side you would not be able to tell the vast majority of the houses apart on looks. That's not what pnm's look for in sorority membership, that's not what makes pnm's rank a house high in recruitment. Neither does perceived money and there is money in every single sorority.
