Fraternity rush - who is full?
by: RusheeI heard at the dorm 2 guys went to ATO and they told them they had a full class. Not sure if this is true or they were letting them down easy. Who else is full? Hoping I didn't waste my time on a bunch of full houses today.

Anywhere ato level or higher is pretty much close to full at this point. Nobody is really ever “full” bc if they like someone that much they will throw a bid but chances are houses like Fiji ato snu and sx are basically full. Good middle tier houses are also likely close to being full since those guys capitalize on first couple days of formal rush the most.

Got a bid last year during formal rush from a "full" house. If they want you they will find a bid for you.

Don't get hooked on only one or two houses. You have really have a list of 5 houses (1 or 2 being a backup). The point of Rush is to check out every house and see which one you feel more comfortable in. Remember bids are NOT a guarantee into the chapter. It's only an invitation to join. The rest is up to you.

We will see how things play out. Heard about a couple of top tier houses who bid kids in the last couple of weeks who were released from lower tier houses earlier in the summer. Just because you get a bid, it doesn't mean you will be a brother.

I had never heard of a house actually releasing guys over the summer vs not contacting them but this apparently does happen and happened to these guys.

I went to the houses that invited me to stuff over the summer, most of which I couldn't get to. Does it matter at all that I was on their list and keeping in touch over the summer? These are mostly houses on the same level as ATO or higher so not feeling very optimistic about tomorrow.
