sorority comments

I am aware that my daughter is the one going through rush, but I am the one paying for it, if she ends up joining a sorority. I found this site just by putting a search for sororities at Texas A and M. This site came up. I did not expect some of the mean comments. I just want my daughter to be with a group of girls who will have a positive impact on her life, not a negative one.

make sure you and your daughter don't think this website is any sort of example of sorority life. Far from it. Gig 'Em!

Groups are 200+.....they all have all types. You should not be guilty of stereo typing either......you perhaps saw some girls who were not as friendly in your "top" group, but I assure you there are nice girls and snooty girls in ALL chapters! Just trust her!

unfortunately this site comes up in search engines but it is a poor portrayal of greek life. The best advice to give your daughter is to keep an open mind during recruitment and to not get her heart set on just one group. All of the groups are strong and she could have a positive experience in any of them. If you ask 10 different people, you'll get 10 different rankings so it's more important for your daughter to follow her heart.

how stupid that they rank based on Twitter and facebook fans but the amount given to philanthropies is not in order. Such a stupid ranking system. The fraternities are based on how many political figures they have. Rankings such as those and this website are so pathetic. Everyone just enjoy the house they live in and quit trying to hurt others and for the love of Greek Life quit posting on these random websites and making one persons thoughts public. It confuses PNM's and their moms
