confused about theta
by: axgoing through recruitment I was cut by them early on, I think cause of my grades, but for the most part I liked what I saw there. I was just confused about how low people speak of them on here? does a top sorority come mainly from how much you interact with frats? cause they raise a lot of money, are top in grades, placed in songfest... like why do people not like them? they are always in the very bottom of these rankings

go where you fit in. you will know when visiting the chapters where you fit in and belong.

theta is ranked bottom because they lack involvement, fraternal relations, and diversity amongst their religious/ideological views. They have one philanthropy even and that is about it. If you want an extremely religious sorority that does nothing (excluding these houses 1 philanthropy even they are known for, you go chio or theta.

they are very strong at Texas, no longer at SMU (closed chapter due to hazing in '22), ok at BU, not at TX State or Sam Houston

Prefacing this by saying I’m not one of the three but I’ve literally never heard gphi mentioned with zeta and axo before they’re not similar at all so I’m confused about this comment

it's better to talk theta up than compare to other chapters. it just looks bad for theta which is wasn't what was suppose to be happening here.

Theta is a great chapter with an incredible sisterhood and the sweetest girls. They get a bad rep for being religious and not going out, but there is definitely a crowd who does. Plus honestly, they're always top in grades, have a ton of leaders in orgs on campus, and raise like $150,000 total through their philanthropy events so who has time to go out when you're literally killing the game and have an incredible rep in the community...

I have met several Thetas at different Frat parties. There are Thetas that go out and party and there are Theta that do not. They have lots of nice, fun girls, they are serious about school and they raise alot of money for their philanthropy. No reason to dislike Theta.
