Who are you excited it still on your schedule? Who are you suprised/sad cut you?
I’m a senior. Remember that first round cuts are not personal they are simply a numbers game. There’s a 99% chance no one specifically chose to cut you from a house after rounds one, but that your resume didn’t generate enough “points” to move you to the next round with that house. It’s hard to explain, but you’ll understand next year. Either way- ITS NOT PERSONAL.

It’s worth it to stick through the process! Especially with it being online it is really easy to go to the parties

Your top two were everyone else’s top 2 -maybe not exactly those two but 1350 PNM’s can’t all squeeze into the same 4 chapters so most PNM’s are cut by the top houses. Welcome to A&M rush. The way to be successful is to realize EVERY chapter here is amazing and be open to trusting the process.

I am a legacy and was super excited about that house, but really connected with AXO and Pi Phi so far. The girls I talked to were funny and sweet. I like KKG too, but I learned they are getting a new house and won’t have one while under construction. All houses have been sweet, but no connection with ChiO - she seemed like she hated recruitment or her sorority.

I still have my top two DG and AXO and Zeta. I only got cut by chi o, theta, and Tri Delt.
I had great convos with:
Pi Phi: really sweet and laid back. Quite surprised, it might just be a fav now
AXO: so outgoing and loved their vibe, really easy to talk to
DG: it was good and it is one of my favs but the girl I got 2nd was harder to talk to
Zta: Good, conversation was slow and energy lacking but understandable mine is too lol
Did not like:
DZ: weird conversation and kind of uncomfortable
Gphi: Hard to talk to, awk convo
Kappa: the girl talked about peter from the bachelor the entire time and I didn't get to talk
I am really excited to meet all the other girls!
