You got a snap bid. Go. You’re in the pledge class.

Sometimes people fall through the cracks just because it’s kind of a numbers game at the beginning. If they invited you back, you left a good impression. Accepting a snap bid doesn’t mean you have to join them. Don’t sign anything if you aren’t sure. You could still decide to do COB (maybe not this semester) but later on if you don’t know.

Big tip! Get girls numbers and try to do a hangout in the next week. Bid day can be confusing bc of all the excitement. It’ll help going on a small group outing or lunch.

Accepting a snap bid is the same binding pledge as accepting a regular bid. You don’t have to initiate but your other (potential) options are off the table. Once you’ve accepted it, you are part of the new member class and cannot participate in any recruitment (COB or formal) until the next school year.

It sounds like you may have received a snap bid! The process of releasing girls during recruitment is pretty complicated, so chances they liked you enough to invite you back in the end
