stop zeta plus the perfect ranks

The only people that consider zeta top is zeta and every ranking that puts them in the top is made by a zeta. Maybe my freshman year I would have considered zeta one of the top houses but at this point they’ve been surpassed in so many ways by others. Your biggest competition is DG so let’s consider this
DG is prettier
DG is smarter
DG wins events (songfest stomp fest)
DG has a much better reputation
DG doesn’t consistently take girls that embarrass their chapter
DG hangs out with a wider net of fraternities
DG is more involved
I really don’t think anyone could disagree with that.
At A&M, their are really two types of sorority. The first is the party, pretty, competitive, in your face type. The second is the exclusive, wealthy, Christian, smart, good girl type (still lots of partiers but don’t have the “party” reputation). Of the first type these are the ranks:
DG
Zeta
Axo
Dz
Gphi
Of the second these are the ranks
Tridelt
Kappa
Chio
Pi phi
Theta
KD
Combining these rankings leads to a lot of debate, because some people simply prefer one type over the other. Some people are probably so committed to type two that they’d go pretty far down the rank list before going DG or zeta. And vise versa.

I think you could say that “no one likes “blank” sorority except themselves” about any chapter here except the ones no one feels “threatened” by. I doubt a DG wrote that bc the description of that group 1 was not very flattering. It’s obviously someone from group 2 who feels threatened by ZTA. I will say however, I don’t agree with these groupings at all, both make me cringe and do not represent Greek life at A&M at all. Every single one of the chapters at A&M has smart, Christian, good girls, girls with money, and girls that are partiers, and are exclusive to some extent. Also BS bc the sororitys in both group 1 and 2 cross rush so much during recruitment that this “grouping” paints a really false picture of Aggie Greek life.

Ya kappa is def the most party on that list but I do think they are even more wealthy and exclusive than they are smart so I see why they’re type two. Also they really only compete with tridelt and chio during rush so it makes sense
