Try WAY too hard. Some girls seem to like them for their own reasons but as far as respect from other fraternities/the general public, it isn't there. IMO they do a really good job of getting to know a small group of girls and retaining them over the years as groupies.

I don’t get the hate, they’re actually super cool and their parties are always fun

in my opinion as well as a lot of other girls I’ve talked to about this, one thing that we judge frats most on is how they act at mixers rather than just parties. Any frat can throw a good party. But in all of our experience with kappa sig, they have had one of the best impressions on us as a chapter bc of how they treated us at mixers, especially in comparison to how other frats have acted. The guys were super sweet, all made a point to talk to us and learn our names, gave girls safe rides home, and have remembered us other times we’ve seen them. No matter how “cool” they are labeled by their rep, they are genuine guys and girls notice that stuff. We’ve been to other mixers where the guys literally didn’t even try to come up and talk to any girls and they made a bad name for themself by just being super lame and creepy towards us. Dislike if you want bc I know it’s bound to happen anyways but they don’t get enough credit

Kappa Sig is definitely on the come up! If they get bigger and better pledge classes in the future I can definitely see them rising! Dislike if you want but I definitely see it happening!
